Bonfire, Fireworks, Bbq and drinks.

Sat 28th Oct 2017 : Halloween Night and DaveBrawn Wedding party
Scary fancy dress night for adults and children. Dave Brawn got married and celebrating at the club.

Saturday 21st October 2017 : Kick up the 80's
Live band and entertainment. Retro fun night.

Fri 12th May - Mon 15th May 2017 : Club Tour
We toured Paris. We played and lost, we rode the underground. We watched lots of 7s.

Friday - Time to dress up and party. End of season awards are presented.

Fri 31st March 2017: Friends of Essington Quiz
Our much loved Friends of Essington group are holding a quiz night, to raise some money.
All proceeds to FriendsOfEssington.

Fri 10th Feb 2017 : We had a great Live band night
Our regular live music night of local bands..

Fri 27th Jan 2017 : We had a great Burns Night
We had a great night of Scottish food, Scottish Dancing, Entertainment and great fun.

Father Christmas comes to visit the children.

Sat 5th Nov 2016: Bonfire Night
Huge crowds for our fireworks night.

Sat 29th Oct 2016 : Halloween party
Adult and children fancy dress. Pumpkins were carved.

May-July 2016 : Summer 7s competition 2016
The 7s games to keep rugby going over the summer. We hosted an event on 23rd July.

25th/26th June 2016 : Clean up weekend
NatWest sponsored clean up day of our clubhouse and grounds.

13th/14th/15th May 2016 : Tour

Sun 1st May 2016 : Chairmans Day
A day of family fun at the clubhouse, with a game of rugby - For the first time, the Chairmans team beat the First team.

Fri 29th Apr 2016 : Dinner/Dance and awards presentation.
End of season celebration, for players, members, plus partners and friends. Yes, its our Annual dinner/dance and Awards presentations!

Sun 20th March 2016 : Sport Relief
Sport Relief is back and we are the local hosts once again! We had lots of fundraising and a run.

The runs were: 6mile 11:00am, 3mile 11:30am, 1mile 12:00pm.
We sold cakes, teas and coffees. Wolverhampton Sainsburys also attended and helped out.

Friday 15th April 2016 : Band night
Loads of local bands.
All proceeds went to the British Legion.

A night of Haggis and scottish stuff.

'Bring and share' buffet and Father Christmas visit for children.

Fri 20th Nov : Quiz Night (British Legion)
Quiz night at the club, being run by the Royal British Legion. We raised £700 !! for the Royal British Legion.

Sat 7th Nov : Bonfire Night and Fireworks
Bonfire, BBQ and Fireworks. A huge attendance from the Community. A great night!

Sat 31st Oct : Halloween Party and World Cup Party
Halloween theme party, carved pumpkins, fancy dress!

August/September 2015 : Club opening event
Big official opening for players, friends and family.
We had MP Gavin Williamson, offically open the club for us.

Loads of help cleaning up the rugby club after the refurbishment work.

First team won the Rubery Owen cup! (36 - 19 vs Stone).

We are undefeated in Europe! Games were RC Spakenburg on Saturday and RC Haarlemmermeer Hawks on Sunday.

Fri 27th March: Live Band night
- "Riverflow" (modern irish music).
- "Thursday's" (80s and 90s music).
- Plus guest performers offering something for everyone.

Loads of money raised in aid of British Royal Legion.

Burns Night - Friday 23rd Jan

Get your kilts ready, it's nearly here!
3 course meal. Starter: Tomato soup, Main: Haggis, Tatties n neeps. Desert: Profiteroles.

Dancing from Royal Scottish Highland Troup and other entertainment.
Dress code: It's not black tie and posh frocks, wear something with a Scottish bent. Come on gents, you've always wanted an excuse to wear a skirt in public!!
Tickets now sold out (£5 each).

Childrens Party. Included a visit from Santa.
Family party. With Christmas Jumpers worn by all!.

Great family event and donations raised for the club.

Excellent catch-up had by all.

A huge community event.
A great day of "School Sports Day Races", tug of war competition, bbq, live owls, dance demonstrations, circus van, loads of stalls (tombola, facepainting and more), plus live bands in the evening.

Sunday 8th June : Aldridge Running Club 10k and fun run.

Wednesday 4th June : AGM
The club AGM. All members heard about the club progress and plans and voted in the new committee.

We raised some money this weekend - all proceeds were split between the club and our nominated charity (Heartlands Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic). Friday raffle £253, Friday/Sunday guess the player sheet £58, Sunday raffle £165, Sunday ball auction £30. Thanks to all.

Eurovision competition on the screen in small room, with food and sweepstake.

Sunday 11th May : County Game - Staffordshire Ladies Vs Leicestershire Ladies
We were proud host venue to a county game! 6 Essington players were in the team.

Friday 24th January : Burns Supper
Meal and traditional Scottish dancing. Plus Scottish dress and some Kilts.
Over 80 people enjoyed a night of food, dancing and celebration of Burns. See the facebook photos.

Christmas Raffle winners Drawn 4th Jan!
The winners were 1st (hamper) - R.Rayner, 2nd (hamper) - A.Lyndon. Then runner up prizes to 3rd Mr&Mrs McNick, 4th Chris/Gillian, 5th Sam Russell, 6th Clive Howseman, 7th Graham Smith, 8th Stew Russell, 9th Ian Blake, 10th BigBadDave. Thanks to all who provided donations/prizes and also sold tickets and helped etc. Much appreciated.
We raised £175 for our charity: Heartlands Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic.

Thurs 26th Sept : Night at the Dogs
A night of dog racing and fun with club members and friends.
Some won some races and money. Some collected dog autographs.

Ladies wanted
Sat 21st Sept : "Bring your Mrs to Rugby" day
While the boys were playing rugby, the ladies got together to enjoy cake and afternoon tea.
An insight into the game of rugby, then out to watch and support the team in their first league game, at home vs Rugeley.

Sat 29th June : E-Fest
A combined Music and Beer festival featuring loads of live bands all day plus a selection of guest beers.

Sat 15th June : Clean Up Day
A very big THANK YOU to all of you who turned up on Saturday for the NatWest workforce day at the club.
It was a brilliant day and a lot was achieved at the club.
